GoHighLevel costs $97 a month for Starter, $297 for Unlimited and $497 for Agency Pro, or ten months' price if you pay yearly. Every plan has a 14-day free trial. Texts, emails, calls, phone numbers, A2P registration and AI are billed on top from a prepaid wallet: at typical volumes, about $23.08 per client a month.

Most pricing pages give you the three plan prices and stop. This page lists every rate we use with the official wording, a link to the page it came from, and the date we last checked it, and the calculator adds them up for your agency. When HighLevel changes a rate, it goes into the price change log with its date.

The three plans

• Starter includes 3 sub-accounts and no rebilling. Every usage fee is yours to absorb.
• Unlimited removes the sub-account limit and lets you rebill phone and email usage to clients at cost ("Rebill Phone & Email (no markup)").
• Agency Pro adds SaaS mode, automated sub-account creation and rebilling with your own markup.

Paying yearly costs ten months of the monthly price. Which plan is cheapest depends on your client count and on whether you bill usage back: the plan comparison works it out at 1 to 25 clients, and Starter vs Unlimited shows where the dearer plan becomes the cheaper one.

Usage fees: texts, calls, numbers and email

These are billed per use on every plan. Rates are for the US and Canada.

Two details that change real bills:

• Segments are not messages. A text over 160 characters, or one with an emoji, is split into several segments, and each segment is billed.
• Carrier fees come on top of the SMS rate. The official guide lists them by carrier: AT&T's is $0.0035 / segment, and the highest outbound fee in the table (Verizon) is $0.005 / segment. HighLevel then adds a 5% markup to pass-through charges at the sub-account level. Our calculator applies the highest outbound fee plus that markup to every segment, so its texting estimate errs on the high side.

With a typical load of 500 SMS segments, 5,000 emails, 60 outbound and 60 inbound call minutes, one local number and one A2P campaign per client per month, usage comes to about $23.08 per client per month.

AI Employee

AI Employee is priced per sub-account (HighLevel says "per location"). Voice AI on pay-per-use has been billed in parts since May 20, 2026: an engine charge, a text-to-speech charge, LLM tokens and the phone minutes. The AI Employee pricing guide covers when each option is cheaper.

What the estimate leaves out

• Taxes and international SMS and call rates. Inbound texts can carry a higher carrier fee than the one we use for some carriers (the guide lists higher inbound fees for US Cellular and smaller carriers)
• Pay-per-use AI tokens (they depend on the model and prompt length)
• Add-ons such as the white-label mobile app, HIPAA or premium support
• Any discount or promotion on your account

Not hidden, but separate. The pricing page says: Your subscription covers the platform features, but there are usage-based costs for telecommunications and AI services, which are standard across the industry. Is GoHighLevel cheaper if you pay yearly?

Yes. Yearly billing is $970, $2,970 or $4,970, which is ten months of the monthly price.

Is there a contract, and can you cancel?

How much does an SMS cost?

$0.00747 / segment in the US and Canada, plus the recipient carrier's fee (AT&T: $0.0035 / segment, Verizon: $0.005 / segment outbound) with HighLevel's 5% markup on it. Our estimates use the higher Verizon fee. A long message is billed as several segments.

Every rate on this site comes from one data file. Once a week an automated check reads HighLevel's pricing page, help-center pricing guides and changelog. It flags any page whose "modified" date or listed dollar amounts have changed.
