GoHighLevel pricing plans compared, net of what you bill back

HighLevel has three pricing plans in 2026: Starter ($97 a month, 3 sub-accounts), Unlimited ($297, unlimited sub-accounts, rebilling at cost) and Agency Pro ($497, adding SaaS mode and rebilling with your markup). Contacts and users are unlimited on all three. The cheapest plan depends on your client count and whether you bill usage back.

Comparing the plans by sticker price alone gives the wrong answer for many agencies, because usage (texts, emails, calls) is often the bigger number, and only Unlimited and Agency Pro let you bill it back to clients. So this page compares them by net monthly cost: plan fee, plus usage, minus what the plan lets you bill back. Every rate behind it is listed, with its source, in the full GoHighLevel pricing guide.

Frequently asked questions

Which GoHighLevel plan should I choose?

Starter if you run one business or up to 3 clients and don't bill usage back. Unlimited for more clients, or when rebilling usage at cost makes it cheaper. Agency Pro only if you need SaaS mode or a markup on usage.

Does GoHighLevel charge per contact or per user?

No. The pricing page says: Unlimited contacts, unlimited Users. Scale your business without a tax on growth. (HighLevel pricing page, checked 2026-10-03)

When should I upgrade from Starter to Unlimited?

When you need more than 3 sub-accounts, or when the usage you'd bill back passes the $200 monthly price difference. Starter vs Unlimited works out that point per client.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes. The pricing page says: You can upgrade from Starter to Unlimited (or Pro) as you sign more clients. If you upgrade mid-month, you will only be charged the prorated difference. You can also downgrade if your needs change. (HighLevel pricing page, checked 2026-10-03)

What should I budget on top of the plan fee?

Usage: about $23.08 per client a month at typical volumes, plus AI Employee if you use it ($50 or $97 per sub-account). The AI pricing guide has the details.
